Gaara: Well, since Naruto had half the town with him, I thought I'd look pretty silly with just three, so I decided it would be better to go for the tear-jerker effect and be all by myself.

awww! that is not nice! well, I guess we have to remember, the last time Kish saw him he was a psycho killer hehe. But no, he shouldn't have said that. Tis gross. But he did tell Gaara that he had surpassed him more than he could have hoped. I don't think he was thinking at first. He's pretty stupid. I mean, he wanted to protect his village by capturing a monster... and then he put it into a little child who wouldn't be able to control it. But he seemed to truly think it was a good idea! Smooth move Kish. Why don't we add further protection by egging the Akatsuki on? I always pity stupid people. They unknowingly make their lives sooo hard.

yup! I think he was only in the office for his jutsu. That Orochimaru idea wasn't a bright idea either. I think he was also a perfectionist being that he was convinced his village needed more and more protection and I think he wanted to surpass the Leaf. So what we have here folks is a stupid perfectionist: A terrible combination

Would you like to read my fanfic? You might like it xD If you do, I'd just like to tell you - since it tends to confuse people - my story starts before the chunin exams. I make Kish get kicked out of office at the beginning of the story, but it's still after the chunin exams. I think it confuses people because Kish was still in office before the chunin exams. Also Gaara hasn't met Naruto yet. He does change as the story goes on, it's just a much more gradual change hehe. You might be thinking, "Why is she telling me all of this crap, I never even said I'd read it!" xDD I won't get mad if you don't want to.

Gaara is my first favorite, then Deidara, then Kish xD Kish is cute too, he looks like Gaara. Well... I have seen a few pictures of him where he doesn't exactly look stunning, but most of the time he's cute xD

he does look more like Kanky that's true. Gaara looks like an electric mix of both his mommy and his daddy. they're both cute characters, and Gaara got their best features, the result being an incredibly adorable character!
your sister sounds awesome!!! well, don't feel like you have to read it. the first and second chapters are a little sad, but it starts getting a lot better. Kish is extremely depressed and exaggeratedly pathetic (cuz I thought it'd be funny), but he comes out of it slowly.

in my fanfic (and possibly in the manga too judging by how he was forced to listen to the council when the declared Gaara a failure)Kish didn't feel comfortable making his own decision, so he relied on his "most trusted" advisor, Don Raphaemaru (have you watched Zorro?). Don Raphaemaru betrayed him though hehe.

I love that about his sand ^_^ Kish's gold was stronger till Gaara grew up, right? I think so cuz he used it to supress the Shukaku when it took over Gaara's body. But I don't think Kish was stronger after Gaara turned 15 since Kish told Gaara that he'd surpassed him.

as far as I know, he was stronger for a while. that's why I find it odd that if he really wanted to kill Gaara that bad, would't he have taken care of it himself instead of sending a bunch of weak assinssins (gah! can't spell!) I guess he thought that if he sent out assis - killers, he could at least tell the council, "Hey, I'm trying, it just hasn't worked yet (little do they know, I knew that Ronmaru guy would suck!)" I mean come on, the killers had to have been weak. Gaara was always strong, but he wasn't really, really strong when he was little. I don't know very many sand ninjas, but there were plenty of Leaf ninjas who could have easily taken him. Either the sand people didn't have any decent killers, or Kish hired sucky ones on purpose.
hehehehe I usually name them after book or movie characters and put 'maru' at the end - not all of them of course, just some. Others have really weird names like Sythe and Zorn. Have you seen Men in Tights? I actually wanted to name a character after the sheffif (

I do that too for some of them. Emiko is a name that I use for someone's daughter, and her name means 'smiling child' it's really sad bc the little girl is dead.

That is really neat. I use the name Chiasa in my story, and it means "one thousand mornings" I really liked that, even though Chiasa can seem evil at times. Then there's Kazuki which means "harmony" and Emiko which means "smiling child." The situation with Emiko is actually really sad because Gaara accidentally killed her

Well, he did it when he was little and the shukaku could take over him more easily. He didn't even know that he did it at all till he heard someone tapping on his window at night. He got up and saw a note on the ground below his window. He blamed it on Kankuro trying to scare him, so he just went back to sleep. That morning though, he went ahead and picked up the note to look, and it said, "Do you remember Emiko Sasayaki?" Because Gaara did it while he was sleeping, he has no idea.
So askes his family if the name sounds familiar and Kankuro said that was a student in his academy class. There's a bunch of other problems with Emiko later on hehe.
