Description
I'm currently swamped with work on my final semester project. In the past week, both Glen Keane and James Baxter have come and given guest lectures here. They have been very very informative! But, just as if in high school again, I doodled shortly after attempting to take notes.Nothing special, posted for my own amusement. I like the demon bunny... the fat guy is actually my film character... the muscular guy is my cgi teacher.

I'm amused that I saw this as a blank piece of paper at the beginning of the lecture. I like your Aquino and demon bun. <3 Who's profile at the bottom?
Baxter was lead on Belle, Rafiki, and he designed and animated the Hunchback and Spirit. Pretty much any scene with a crazy rotating camera was done by James Baxter (the part in Lion King where Scar circles Simba, the ballroom scene in Beauty and the Beast, and the stuff with Hunchback and Spirit. Baxter is super technical and Keane is very spirited...I feel bad for Glen Keane's clean-up crew.

I told my mother that. "Everyone loves Glen Keane's animation... except for his clean up crew" haha.
Uhhh it was a random boy but I think it looks like Lute from VoH so I've decided that it is.

Glen Keane?? Gyah, that must've been awesome!
I'm not familiar with James Baxter, though, what work has he done?
ANYway, these are some pretty boss doodles. I especially like that wolf creature in the center. Also your little fat guy is adorable.

James Baxter's most famous character is Belle IIRC, or possibly Roger Rabbit. He also supervised the animation for the 2d segment in Enchanted and the 2d dream sequence for Kung Fu Panda.
Keane was amazing though, both of them animated in front of us, but Baxter's was more of a focus on how to inbetween and clean up.

he wore his Oswald shirt to class on the very first day last semester, so my image of him is sort of... burned as this buff guy in a rabbit shirt. He's actually super nice, though. Very patient and a good teacher... I just wish I liked the subject more.

rofl that's hilarious! xD Reminds me of an old gym teacher from my middle school! He was bald with a big ol' beer belly and he wore really short shorts with either a pink, yellow, purple etc polo shirt >-< It buuuuuuurned!
He sounds like an awesome teacher though! xD
