Description I'm not entirely sure how or why the idea came about. But this essentially crosses Pokémon with the Japan-only title "Mojib Ribbon." Perhaps it's Futachimaru's design; there are slight similarities to the main character "Mojibri", though very slight.

In any case, I kinda like how it all ended up.

For those not knowing, Futachimaru comes from "Pokémon Black/White." It is the immediate evolution of Mijumaru (known now in English as "Oshawott", one of the starting Pokémon in the game. At the moment it's the only creature I really like in the generation, with Mijumaru coming in second and mostly everything else placed more distantly.

Also, "Mojib Ribbon" was a rhythm game made by the same developers behind PaRappa the Rapper; it's said to be a spin-off of Vib-Ribbon. It sported a brush calligraphy-esque graphics, a style that would be used by Ōkami three years later, though to a much greater extent. The game was fun and fairly simple, with control mapped only to one analog stick; however its strong linkage to both Japanese culture and language made it a game that was virtually impossible to port to other countries.

I wonder what will be his English name. I guess we'll find in four mionths. In the meantime, I try to complete the Dex in Soul Silver.

Ah yes, with the help of family and three different games I managed to accomplish that feat. Granted, I don't have them all on hand, but they've all been listed as having been owned at one point or another.

In my case it's plenty of breeding and having a second DS.

I've flipped through the latest generation of mons, and to be honest, I'm not really impressed. I was hoping for a Mawhile evolution, but that's not happened... sigh

It's a similar story for me; I found the whole list, with sprite screenshots, and after looking at them all there wasn't anything that caught my eye. But it was before that time that I found Futachimaru, and I liked it to the point where the initial form Mijumaru became another favorite as well. Still not entirely sure about Daikenki, the final evolution in its line.

I suppose when it was stated that the initial game would not include any of the previous Pokemon generation, it would've been obvious that evolutions of them would not be in the new game either. A shame, because I wanted to see if Eevee was able to become anythings else.

Boy am I getting jumpy, closing this off before realising this Pokémon was outed BEFORE my cut-off date of September 1st.

Found out of its existence through a deviation of 's. I thought it was fake, and I had to eat my hat.

I have to say, unlike Mudkip and Piplup, Mijumaru certainly improves with this evolution, throwing off that awful durpy otter guise. However, I'm still starting with Tsutaja! It's a commitment!

So, still have at least 4 months to wait. I wonder what the other starter evos will be like? NO SPOILERS, PLEASE. It's a fresh start for Pokémon, and I don't want to know any more than what I already know.

I never figured the *starter* Pokemon evolutions ever counted as spoilers. And you need not worry, the rest of the critters in Black/White don't really impress me enough to merit art for them...

you know, this does open up the possibility of a vib ribbon/buneary/lopunny crossover.

Perhaps, but I suspect Buneary and Lopunny would look rather odd in a Vector-based graphical style. X3

Yeah. From what I call from being spoiled, I see in my head...
Ice-cream!? What the heck!?

P.S. Making WarioWare D.I.Y. game as I type this. It doesn't feature Iris Chymara... hint: the title is "BarbeKyubi".

Futachimaru is pretty rocksome. Shame it evolves into a clam-covered Dialga. :I

..At least, it -would- if I let it.

Well, at least Daikenki looks like *something,* a sea lion. I still can't figure out the newer legendaries (3rd gen on), and I haven't been all that impressed with them either.
