It's 's birthday today. Someone already drew his personal character today, so I decided to take a slightly different approach.I drew his personal character as a Raichu.
Because Raichus are awesome.

So, I was working transferring a story over here when I noticed a raichu sitting on my Watch List. I thought it was pretty cute, but figured it was one of many submissions to the "Raichus United" group I watch, so I didn't give it much thought. Then I noticed it was slightly off-color. The more I looked, the more I noticed more and more peculiarities about this raichu. Eventually, I noticed it was drawn by Malamite. Then I noticed the submission title.
"J.R."
All of a sudden, everything just kind of fell into place and I realized exactly what I was looking at. ... Myself. (Or my character, rather.) As a raichu!
Thank you for this very original gift, Malamite! Raichus are indeed awesome! And I must say, I make a pretty darn awesome raichu. Heh heh heh. X3

Well, I'm glad you like it! My apologies if it's a bit late. I wasn't certain it would've been good enough.
For a moment I debated just sticking to regular Raichu colors and keeping the other visible details. But I decided to press on with the character's palette. Brighter colors didn't seem to look right for the eyes though, so they ended up darker...

I'll be honest... I didn't even notice until you said something. X3 Besides, typically, raichu has black eyes with a simple sheen to them, right? So you did just fine! :3
