Description
A while ago i drew he Masada-class Frigate for the UNMC, and recently it started to look kinda dated compared to the rest of the aesthetic reboot that i gave the Contention universe. So, i decided to do a little update on it here. You can see it compared to the older drawing of the same ship and see what i've changed about its form to make it look better visually. Still room for some slight tweaking here and there but this is pretty much what you will be seeing in part 3 of the first Contention issue. Also, i decided to give a comparison between the new UNMC frigate and the ARC frigate model that i just put up a few minutes ago to give a sense of scale an design between 2 different human factions. Next i'm looking to draw some Exohuman ships, (which will be seen alot in the comic).Related content

Upcoming UNMC ship protocol will require all vessels to have real fire constantly burning on the sides to scare away evil space bad guys.

The possible damage and loss of life will be explained away with the fact that we'll have GIANT BURNING SPACESHIPS! In SPAACE!

In fact that's how the mediate the concerns of all the worried civilians, when someone complains they just call a press conference and play a video that repeats "GIANT BURNING SPACESHIPS! In SPAAAAACE!" over and over again until everyone in the audience agrees that its too badass to get rid of. Its actually quite effective.

I imagine it only takes a few repeats of that before people are convinced to throw more funding at the UNMC again.

They've raised over 70 million dollars so far off of that same plan being repeated over and over again, i honestly don't know how they pull it off so seamlessly. And the people fall for it every single time, i'd be lying if i said i haven't broken down and donated some money to the cause.
