This may look familiar to some of you, since it's a 3D depiction of the cover of the Dragonlover's Guide to Pern. Made with polymer clay and painted with acrylics. Cute little guy

Awesome. Did you use wire to help keep your mold together? Or maybe it's thickness/thinness? Mine keep drooping every time. =3=

Yeah, I used wire, but it's not cast from a mold. I usually build a wire armature and build around it.

All the weird muscles on the cover actually make sense this way, too...
I tried making a fire-lizard from Sculpey. I baked it. I painted it...and then it broke...I think this just inspired me to fix her up a bit

Fantastic Job! I made a try at my first Pern Dragon. It was for my sisters wedding, however there had been a few mistakes pointed out to me though... Oh well, I had only read one of the books and with that I made into a dragon into a 3x4ft poster for her and she loved it. I hope you do to
