Holy crap! How did you manage to keep that finger-hugging pose... and how did you bake it with no base that I can see?

I baked slowly it in stages...starting with just the wire armature and some body mass, then every time I added something like the wings, I'd bake it resting on the part that's already hard-ish. The tail was made around a wire, and it slips on like a ring, pretty snug.
