Description
The Nostalgia Critic is having a contest right now for artists to design the cover for his next DVD with a $300 being awarded to the winner, and even runners-up will get some promotion in the video itself. So I though I'd enter.I wanted something bold and simple but which also summarized the Nostalgia Critic as a character. I also tried to have my design coincide with his channel's logo, it only being black, white, and red.

I don't remember. It was at the end of the video and I only noticed it because I re-watched it at one point. And that was several weeks after the contest had ended.

This could actually win. It's gets across what the product is with minimal colors so printing will be more cost efficient. Not bad, almost Breaking Bad in a way.

Even if I wanted to, I cannot. I could produce something good looking, but not good enough to win. Plus, the scanner is having problems connecting to anything other than the half-broken Windows PC. And if it didn't, a traditional drawing NOT cleaned up in Photoshop would look too crude for kids these days.
In other words, my greatest successes lie in the future, while yours do in the present.
