Now, this is a fairly simple character portrait featuring an apparently female demonic character. As for the art it's all around decent and clean, it isn't hard on the eyes by any means, and the color palette is quite reasonable and concise keeping consistent with the muted/desaturated lifeless appearance of the character. Unfortunately, simply by looking at this piece, it's clearly a character concept doodle but not much detail could be gathered as to the aspects of said character other than the fact that she's a female, wields a Halberd, and is fairly- well, blank/souless/lifeless judging by the facial expression. To provoke interest from viewers with character doodles and whatnot, always take the opportunity to show off the character emotively, unless this character tends to stand around like a mannequin although the Halberd indicates that she may do some fighting. For a character doodle, wouldn't it have been more interesting to show her in an action pose perhaps with her weapon? Rather than standing and staring blankly? I believe there could've been more potential for this certain doodle to draw more interest about this character. Otherwise though as a piece of art itself there isn't anything wrong with it by any means, for a simple doodle, it does a good job at portraying a character simply. Cheers!
