Description (EDIT: Welp, as you probably know, I didn't get much of this accurate, but I like keeping this up as a piece of speculatory history.)

Something I tossed together for the sake of discussion on the SO-DO Pop podcast. You can check it out here - we talk about some light news reveals of things we knew about, a review of SO-DO Den-O, aaand I sprung this on everyone when we talked about SO-DO Zero-One predictions.

First and foremost, I have only a vague understanding of how Zero-One's form changes even work, but I figured it would involve the standard chest/shoulder armor swapping, with the use of thigh armor and swappable shins. For Vulcan... in retrospect, the shins being in the armor set doesn't really make sense. I said as much on the podcast. And for clarity, the version of the Shotriser included with the armor is meant to be the holdable weapon version, while the main body has the belt version.

Between Rising hopper and Flying Falcon, the shoes are different, so I tried making the detail part of the shins - which wouldn't look pretty, but I don't know how they will handle it. My thought is that anything involving balljoint removal probably isn't gonna happen just because they don't normally do that for SO-DO. It's more about what can be pegged on that doesn't affect articulation - popping off balljoint parts constantly, that could cause some looseness in those joints.

Then I made some bold predictions! The SO-DO line tends to take what was introduced in its "Dai SO-DO" releases and make that the standard for the next line. Improved articulation was introduced in Ex-Aid's Dai SO-DO set, swappable hands were in Build's Dai SO-DO set... and Zi-O offers us a few possibilities. It provided more stickers, attachable foot parts to provide detailing to the underside for Rider Kick poses, and of course, light piping in the compound eyes.

I decided the most logical carry over is the light piping. The way I depict it, there's a block of clear plastic in the head, front to back, and the form-specific helmet pieces are translucent plastic that's painted. This means the eyes of those helmets are all capable of lighting up. I didn't really have a good idea of how to attach those parts, but it's an idea at least.

Last of bold predictions is the inclusion of fists without weapon pegholes! This is something that was included in the Another Rider releases. According to Bandai's blog, they included those with the Another Riders because fans wanted fists like that, and it felt natural to do there since most of the Another Riders in the wave didn't have weapons. My thought is that, if that was a big enough hit with the fans, perhaps it could carry over here. Future releases could take care of fists for Vulcan and the other Riders.

When it comes to the Rider inclusions, I know there are some who would want Valkyrie in this wave. My thought was to space things out logically, and to not have tooo many things in the first wave. This first wave is like a sampler, like Zi-O's - just gives you the two main Riders, the form change gimmick, and one body.

In just a couple more weeks, we'll be seeing what SO-DO has in store! Here's hoping the Attache briefcase is at least part of the deal!

I feel like this is a box shy at minimum of a standard case assortment, so I think they might push back FF to month 2 and put Valkyrie in instead. Or else maybe G-ro-One* will be more kind to us than D-O started as and include multiple bodies per wave.

*Horrible pun mine but I'm calling prophecy if they use it.

My presumption for vulcan is different. I think that it will be quite similar to build as in the blue part is the shooting wolf set (driver, upperleft torso+arm, left leg and the face) while the white part is the action body set is the action body set (right half body and the undersuit)

What little we see of Vulcan and Valkyrie's additional forms seems like it's an entirely new suit, so I don't know that the half-and-half thing has any relevance, more of an aesthetic choice.

I wouldn’t be surprised if they try to include Humagear figures because of the pseudo rider thing the MOTW have now.
