Your name is Kiba Inuzuka, and you have a problem, a serious problem. It has come to your attention that recently you discovered your strange, and apparent feelings for Neji Hyūga . Your laying in your room pondering this idea, you can't tell if your shortness of breath is from this realization or from your companion, and life long friend Akamaru, resting his paws, and head on your chest.

Sliding up you look out your window at the night sky. You can't sleep at all. This thought is both disturbing, and confusing. Hinata would have been a better love interest, but you know that she's in love with Naruto, a love that hasn't ceased since he left to find Sasuke. You grit your teeth together in annoyance. Why did it have to be him? It wasn't that you held a grudge against him, but he's just or even more serious than Shino. You roll your eyes at the thought, and slink back into bed. Akumaru stirring lightly from your movements.

You have no idea how to go about this. Telling him would be stupid, and you're not even sure if he feels the same. You doubt it as your eye lids close. After all you are like almost nothing like him. That morning you wake up to a wet tongue, and a knock at the door. You open your eyes, and sport an annoyed look on your face. Akumaru normally wakes you that way, so it was the door that was made you start your morning off in a crabby manner. You begrudgingly walk over to the door, and swing it open. "What?" You blink, and for a second your attitude fades into confusion. You peak your head back into the apartment to find that it was one in the afternoon, not ten in the morning like you had thought. The thought that you were actually wrong at being angry at Neji was off putting, but the fact that you also remembered you had feelings for him didn't help as well. Sighing you lean against the door frame, and ruffle your hair. "Yeah,what is it?" You asked in a less annoyed voice. "Nothing, Hinata wanted me to give you this." He then handed you a bag. You take the bag confused, but then remember you let her borrow some of your books, a while back. "Thanks?" You state as you place your hand by your side. "Well come inside, it's better than standing out here." When Neji entered you closed the door behind him, and walked behind him.

Outside you seem normal, well as normal as you are when you first wake up. You were never much of a morning person. Inside your heart his racing a mile a minute, and you're kicking yourself in the head for having such feelings for him.

You arrive in the living room and you place the bag on a chair. You'll most likely forget their even there by tomorrow, but you shrug that thought off as you place your hands into your pockets.

You are currently walking to his home Hinata was planning on returning them, but considering this was a good chance for you talk with Kiba without having it become awkward. When you arrive, you knock on the door and wait. After a moment passed, you find a very annoyed Kiba in front of you. You try not to roll you eyes. Even though you have feelings for him, his attitude still is off putting. You eyebrow twitches as you say "Good afternoon" You feel a big smug as you watch his irritation melts into confusion. It was one in the afternoon, not whatever time Kiba had in his head. You then proceed to hand him the bag full of books. He takes it places it down, then offers you to come inside. You walk inside and discover that it's not much of a mess, but considering it's Kiba it wouldn't be very clean.

The two of you stand in awkward silence not sure what to do. As you stand there, something seems off about Kiba. Usually he's complaining about being woken up, or something . But he just placed his hands into his pocket, and said nothing. You bite the inside of your cheek silently trying to figure out what was so off about him today. Then it suddenly hits you like a ton of bricks. Your jaw drops only slightly as you relish in the idea that Kiba might actually share the same feelings.

Being Kiba again you find this awkward silence to be well awkward. You roll you eyes, and shake you head lightly it would be just as awkward standing outside then it would be inside! You try not to get annoyed at yourself for making such a stupid move, as you watch Neji's face droop slightly. This confuses you, you frown and stare at him. What was going on in that head of his. Then of course it wasn't long before you figure it out also. You brain has frozen over as if a blizzard ran through it. Neji must feel the same way you do. Oh, now there was no way to ever tell him, or hell even ask him. "I'm going to go." Neji stated slowly as he turned back to the door. You watch as the door opens, and clicks quietly behind him.

When you felt it safe, you groan loudly, and collapse to the floor. You can't believe this is happening. Akumaru comes over and rubs his nose against your shoulder trying to comfort you. It doesn't work, but you smile softly, and pet him anyway.
