dedicated to because she taught me cycles and is always there if i need help! ♥ i learned how to correctly use bump maps (though i forgot to turn it down on the belt XD and on the skin so i had to paint that -_- ) and light maps. not sure what spec maps do tbh lol
so here she is! in all her punky emo-y glory! thank you lyssa sensei, love you lots!

thank you sweety! this took me days to set the textures and maps up XD DAYYYSSSS. then about 10 hours render time. hehe. i love cycles, i love it so much XD ill save it for really meaningful pictures because it just takes so long to set up and render. ill use regular blender rendering for normal kinda every day pics ^^

i'm so glad you like her! it's weird, the preview render didn't show a lot of stuff, in the final render i saw just how lumpy her skin was XD i dunno whether to blame the preview quality or my laptop screen XD. but thank you so much, you're a brilliant sensei ^_^ i even found myself having blender banter with one of the greats the other day! i was like OMG. im bantering with a popular blender artist omgomgomgomgomg.

That's pretty awesome! Absolutely love the hair. And if I remember correctly, spec maps are what dictate how much the light affects parts of the model.

ohhhh that'd explain why she has two for the face, one quite light and one quite dark. its so much fun to use! everyone i talk to is like "ugghhh cycles is soooo boriinnngg" but i love it haha. it requires thinking and good hand eye coordination for using the camera and keyboard/mouse combinations. thank you very much dear! as for the hair, that was painted ^_^ she's basically a slim version of me XD this is what i would look like if i lost half my bodyweight hahahahahahaha! ILL DO IT
