remember angel's old bleak & near-colorless-compared-to-how-vibrant-he-is-now design? here's a thought: what if, similarly to su's gems, demons & angels alike had minor changes in their appearance as time goes by? differing hues, outfits, and, in occasional cases, their shape & features. some go through many physical changes while others have as few as one or three; every being in the afterlife has at least one.
blue blood's duller coat & dark scleras mirrors one of her brother's previous looks. although still silent out of social anxiety, her trauma & being without angel (and worries of facing him, for angel was fiercely protective of his more vulnerable siblings. from the way she died, honey youve got a big storm comin') has left her much more cold & aloof, an untouchable ice queen. getting her to open up is like prying open the entrance of a steel wall with a crowbar. this form lasted from 1947 until...the late 20th-early 21st century? keeping it equivocal for now, but this form held for much longer than angel, reflecting her stagnant nature.
