acts like a parental/older sibling figure to those who need it

EXTRA:
they have no visible mouth & you'd probably never want to see it open
they have glow-in-the-dark-freckles dusting their shoulders, collarbone & hips
when they close their eyes, it looks as if they were completely featureless
they hide a lot, usually within the darkness itself
they have a fairly disturbing sense of humor *
although they have plenty of patience to spare, they are absolutely terrifying when angered to the extreme
they have a strong dislike for fusion, which stemmed from their own personal experience rather than homeworld's ideology that fusion between two different gems should be considered shameful
fusing with star sapphire is incredibly dangerous, especially considering the nature of their kind, they may potentially drain all life from the gem(s) they're fused with
the last gem star sapphire fused was with a dear companion of theirs, and let's just say doing so did not end well for the said companion
as a result of this incident, the grief-stricken star sapphire vowed to never fuse again, no matter how much the situation calls for it
they harbor a lot of self-hatred for this, as well as for their 'reaper-like' powers
they turned their back on homeworld long ago, their currently whereabouts is currently unknown (they're on earth but nobody knows that...yet)
they'd rather stay on neutral ground when it comes to the everlasting hatred between homeworld and crystal gems
blue star sapphires are known to be extremely rare on homeworld, and they are one of the last of their kind
their kind were originally created to control homeworld's population, wiping out overproduced 'commoner' gems in particular *
their kind were known as reaper gems, due to their primary ability to wipe out/absorb life en masse *
