Description
Yet another practice sketch from classes. This time I wanted to practice making insect monsters. I think this one came out half decent. I'd definitely would like to try more Cybug and other insect like concepts.This wasn't planed at first, but I guess it could be from the same race as one of my old OCs.

At first plating really didn't look right, but with a little patience and some fine tuning it came out a bit better then I though it would. Actually the armor style is based off my armadillos that I am currently working on.

Hmm... not much, though the fat fingers look a tad unwieldy. That's kind of nitpicking though...

Oh that's a good thing to point out. Some monsters I try giving more of the unwieldy look. Like all their hands are good for is riping apart buildings and other monsters. But yeah for these creatures it would make more sense to have hands that can handle small objects. It's a minor and pretty easy adjustment.
One of these days I should post some sketches of how I draw my stuff.
