this is an old piece a couple years back. I really enjoy inking with a brush, it feels very fluid and there's a lotta happy accidents.Related content

I used a worn out brush that I just "stabbed" at the page and then twisted it to create the effect..it was accidental really. but it worked out!

This is definately one of my favourites in your gallery here man... The piece just feels really pure, and you can see how much fun you had with it.

i started inking with a brush lately myself and I am right with you, it's fun, hard but can come up with happy accidents, great way to describe it=]

The scenery is very nice. I especially like the wood work and the water the best.

I'd love a high res of this to try colouring it. I can imagine going nuts with the sunset oranges and golds matched with nice purple shadows and the like...!

Awesome ! effects are great ! and the landscape too. I think as Aaron but I also understand that you don't want to take risks. You didn't try to ink your comics page yourself ?

thanks aaron! you know yeah, I've totally thought about it, but I'd have to devote more time practicing that technique before I'd imagine even attempting it. It's fun on a single image piece but I'm not sure how proficient I'd be using that style panel to panel.
