ALLBLACK ICONS SET VER 0.4 FIXEDThis set isn't completed!!
TO INSTALL:
exctract the file from the rar file and use the theme menager to install it, or extract from the second archive the file in the folder : ~/.icons or /usr/share/icons (ROOT PRIVILEGES!)

Icons made by me with inkscape (IN THE scalable FOLDER THERE IS PNG (for reagion of resolution and rendering), THE SVG IS IN THE FOLDER true-scalable)

The theme is awesome but really needs support for odf files (LibreOffice files) - else things kind of look out of place

Wonderful theme! ;D
The only problem is that the folder icons only work in icon view, but not in detail view.
I saw that behaviour in thunar and also in dolphin,
maybe u could add them for detailed view too?
But thats really my only negative point. In every other case these icons are simply perfect!!

Don't worry.. you should unrar the file and use the theme manager or extract again the tar.gz and copy the conteined folder in ~/.icons/ (~ = your home) and if folder .icons dosen't exist make it...

This design is pretty sleek. But you could think about adding some kind of white or grey 'border' or something to the icons so that they are visible on any theme. Because, the icons looks great on my elementary theme but are not vislble on the desktop since my background is a dark one.

Great theme, but so far I have not been able to get Inherits to play well with it. Anyone have any idea why? Also, is this theme still in development?

Hi, I don't understand very well the first problem (maybe for my bad english)..
And no I'm waiting some one that take my place and develop this theme but for now no one is came... And I have no time and no inspiration for develop it..

Gnome icon sets have a feature called Inherits. Basically, if you add Inherits= [Names of other installed gnome icon themes here] to the index.theme file, the theme should use icons from the named icon themes when it does not have the icon itself. For example, if I put Inherits = SetX in the index.theme file for AllBlack, it should use the icon for Ibus from SetX because there is no icon for Ibus in AllBlack. However, this doesn't seem to work in AllBlack. Still a great icon theme though.

Thanks to you for your interest, this theme is made for gnome (one de for linux) but you could use the icon (png or svg) directly.. I don't know how but I'm sure that is possible...

First off, thank you for such awesome work! Your icons are really cool.
For some reason, pdf files don't show a black icon - instead, my system defaults to the gnome icon for a pdf. I tried renaming a black icon "pdf.png" in the mimetypes folder, and I looked in the theme index file.
Any thoughts on how I can get your cool icon to show up in the file browser for my pdf files?

Thanks for getting back to me.
I was able to trick my system into assigning an icon to pdfs by copying the icon for an unknown file and naming it "pdf.svg" within my folder with all your other icons. This may be a good fix for some...
I'm running ubuntu 8.04, and I think Gnome 2.22.1.

but in the folder "true scalable" or in the "scalable" if in the first tray to move (from the console) in this folder ("~/.icons/ALLBLACK/true-scalable/") and do ./convert-all-2-png.sh ...
