Here I'd like to introduce you to another character that I haven't shown you yet, somewhere fifteen years into the future from The Cleansing storyline.

Being a centaur can be a blessing and a curse. Meldan knows that, but for his little niece, Meira, the daughter of his brother, it's a bit harder. Having a centaur father and a human mother, it took a experimental medical procedure to be born. She has trouble with her centaur heritage when her family moves to a new town where only humans live, and gets bullied at school for being the only centaur there. She wishes to be human, but knows that's impossible, and berates her parents for making the choice she would be born a centaur, and not a human, like her brother. Her family hadn't told her why they have chosen her to be a centaur, and once she finds out the dramatic family history that took place the year before her birth, she starts to appreciate her heritage. Here we see her with her uncle Meldan, helping her connect to her centaur side, by running together at speeds no human can keep up. And as you can see, she may take it a bit too seriously...

This drawing is a YCH commission made by reigohoo . Check out their wonderful work! I've purposely let them draw Meldan with a lore-inaccurate human face because I like the way they draw those faces. Meira, on the other hand, is fully lore-accurate, as she is a hybrid between a human and a centaur, having considerably less fur on her upper body compared to a normal centaur, and a completely human face without a snout.
