Description
This piece where Gaudian pillars meets De Chirico I dedicate to all the brilliant mathematicians and program developers and all you others at fractalforums.com www.fractalforums.com/ , who has made the impossible possible. This piece is the first of a series of 3 (+1) about the members of a forum. The second in the series "The Artist": MANDELWERK.deviantart.com/art/…
And the third, "The programmer": MANDELWERK.deviantart.com/art/…
I was having a conversation with Kali, who is one of the mathematic geniuses who also love to see what "the artists" makes of their formulas. I love this mutual respect that we have for each others skills at fractalforums www.fractalforums.com/ , that is what makes it such a intense boiling pot of ideas.
I promised I would do a piece which included one of his formulas, this made me exchange my favorite 'cosine power 8 mandelbulb' with Kalis 'KaliLinCombSSE2sm' in this hybrid: MANDELWERK.deviantart.com/art/… and out came this beautiful weirdness.
Mandelbulb 3D, DOF done in Photoshop.
Just found out I got a DD for this piece on this historical date.
Swedish television is sending from New York all day.
We all think about this terrible event today I believe.
I remember that day ten years ago too well.
A good choice n8iveattitude, even if it not very fractal in its nature, this is a series I am very proud of myself.
Thank you all for your support!
And thank you all Mathematicians, Programmers and Artists!
I HAVE FOUND THE PERFECT FRAME FOR THIS IMAGE: MANDELWERK.deviantart.com/art/…

I'm not sure if every mathematician is smooth or beautiful but their thoughts sure are

Nice one J! Been trying to get results from Kali's
very enticing formula for a while, and this beauty just
makes me more determined to keep going with it!__

Well it did affect this combo quite differently than all other "bulbs" I tried with, worth testing!
Thanks again Mark!!!

I love Tanguy, and you are right, only would need to add some red threads that hold things together...
Thank you Eric!

To date, this is, in my lowly opinion, the best Mandelbulb piece I've seen. This is over the top great.

Thanks for calling me a genius, but it's too much... the real geniuses at FF may get angry!
