I keep wanting to say how awesome this is, and I feel I should explain why: this story idea just feels so in tune with the show's own style and humor that I feel like I'm watching an episode.

Except I'm sure FiM won't explore nuclear detonations.

Thank you so much. I think that's one of the reasons I picked it when *Birdco was looking for collaborators. The CMC are always trying things that they probably shouldn't while trying to gain their cutie marks, and I know as a kid I would look at a diagram of a fission bomb and think, "That's easy! I should make one some time!" Okay, maybe not that last part.

What? Who didn't look at a diagram of an implosion-type plutonium bomb when they were kids and say, "I want one"?

Mine never bothered considering I didn't have the money to construct a breeder reactor in the backyard.

Well, maybe if I bought one of those Soviet models that don't have any safety features. But even as a kid I had more common sense than a Communist.

Soviet communism: saving lives since 1917.

If by "saving" you mean "causing mass starvation, retarding Russian industry and technology, and ensuring that psychotics like Iosef Stalin and Nikita Kruschev could get into power, and creating the Cold War confrontation with their heavy-handed Iron Curtain "Do as we say or we send the Red Army after you" approach, thus causing the dichotomy in world politics for 60 years that had both sides arming third-world assholes who really should never have been trusted with a shovel let alone tanks and assault rifles," then I agree.

Actually, by "saving" I meant "ending and making miserable."

Then we are agreed. D'accord.

One question - why glasses aren't on their ears?

Because they are held in place by duct tape

Duct tape is most useful. Even for pure theorists.

That's the way they work, I guess. It's the way Rainbow Dash wore them in "Lesson Zero." I think it looks weird, too.

Speaking of those glasses, I think they shouldn't be overlapping ponies' hairs, and the eyes shouldn't be visible under them (they weren't for Dash, except for those moments where eyes were needed to be seen).

Very nice work with those outfits, by the way. Derpy looks pretty badass in the last panel.

Good call. I went in and fixed it, and I gave you credit. I did leave the eyes partly visible, though. Ponies got big dern eyes.

They never were in the show. And besides, just look at them; can you imagine these glasses being made in such a way that ponies could attach them to their ears?

JosD In reply to UnimportantUsername [2012-08-05 20:35:23 +0000 UTC]

if is not attached to the ears then theyre attached to the head, believe me i used some glasses that i feel that is squirt my head
