I don't see anything idiotic about this.
The whole pieceΒ is very fitting for a rain scene.Β The surroundings look wet and just like a watercolor painting.Β The rain looks frozen in time like a photo captured at a high shutter speed.
Twilight is so caring and selfless, sheltering Spike with her wing, keeping him dry as he nestles beside her on their dry bit of grass.
The rain dripping off her feathers and faceΒ was well drawn.Β And the design to her eyes are an interesting change to how they are in the show.Β The color of the sun breaks through the storm and shines with warmth upon the whole scene.Β I really love how it touches everything, from the trees to our two friends.
This is a very sweet scene, full of tender care and love.Β Have faith in your style and let it grow naturally.Β Be proud in your creation.Β And most of all, be happy.
