Description
I've been trying a new painting technique of using washes. I find that the more i practice on them they just become...so different from everything else.I had this little piece at a show and I sold it. and I almost forgot my camera to take a picture of it (I love this painting). The woman who bought it really really loved it, and I'm happy it went to someone who appreciated it so much.
This is one of the pieces I intended not to have a conceptual meaning, but I'm finding that it's having more of an impact than I imagined.
Anyways, enjoy. Acrylics on 5x5 canvas

This makes me want to experiment with washes.
I love the acidic green and the simplified facial features/shading. Wonderful piece.
