Lovely piece of work. I find the mix of the harsh yet stylistic look of the blacks and whites with the more smooth background colors to just be very pleasing to the eyes even with its morbid tone. I've always loved the the very clean look acrylic can get but I hardly get the time to work with the medium. Any tips for someone that is relatively new to the medium and doesn't wish to have that many failures (due to the fact that I'm broke XD)?

Well, I use Apple Barrel acrylics. Which the small2oz bottles only run for about $1 (and last a long time), the large ones are about......$2.50
They're approved by the ACMI so as much as they are "craft" paints, they are approve by the quality art control association.
They have a matte texture, so you can draw on top of it (most acrylic is glossy, so drawing can be a little more difficult), and watered down can be used as a permanent watercolor substitute.
All in all, it just takes practice. I've been working with it for 13 years and often still struggle haha

Huh, I haven't heard that comparison before.
Around the time I made this I worked for a musician named Clint Lowery (of Sevendust) on his solo project and there was a lot of illustrations I created with this theme

Holy, epically magnificent! This Devious Spirit is stunning and The Antler-Headed Characters look incredible! The expressions, poses, designs, body, stripes, tail. suits, background, skull, symbols, transparent-ness, humor, gholish qualities, atmosphere, textures, concept, composition, uniqueness, colors, lighting, style, and other details are also wonderful!
