Art and inks by: Paolo AguasinWe've received quite a number of colorist applicants and we found it hard to gauge their skill level....so tada! Comipa's patented color test...
Feel free to choose the color theme, lighting etc....
applicants may send a low res version of their finished work to gb_central@yahoo.com ^___^
If you haven't submitted an application before, please add your resume with the colored artwork.
Colorist Details:
- Ages 18 and above
- Willing to work full time
- Willing to work at Mangaholix studios (Buendia area)
- Willing to ignore other in-house artists who are wearing shorts and may / may not look good wearing them
- Sense of humor is a must.
- Must not be afraid of supernatural phenomena or ghosts for short ^____^
- Must not be afraid of dogs

Sorry .... I doont know with who i'm talking but its my way to say that ... "THE GUY" is all over lately ... like ... in watever yu studio people do ...
"Wath a panic" such over reaction of talent .. kekek...
Now i do ask myself... "thers no one that can beath the guy in style results line and defenition?" ...
Ok Got super amazing talent ...
BUT Seams to me ... ( and i have 20 years of this ) ... that you people are puting the guy in extreme pressures ... So the artist maibe canot give its 100% of quality to us because of it ....
Yu know a artist when get under alot of stress get saturated ... then start to loose quality ... "inspiration" defenition in what its doing ....

As kinda editor in chief on my own lil bankrupted studio/editorial ... here xD
My move would be - not just put in action a "colorist search" ... but also a "penciler" and a "inker assitançe" ... were the results of those artists would be alil bit like "comipa art" .... were i could put working on things next to it next to him with him....
- Like comipa directing sketches composition, the other penciler also doing sketches ... comipa finishing the sketch ... then the inker be close to comipa inkwork and learn its tecnique and its tools .. ( manga studio x and poser wasnt his trick ? xD ) ....
So instead of having just "one comic pa " ... Yu would be having 1 extreme creative comicpa + 2 3 halfs of comic pas working near him ....
Yu know multiplying the artists "their job" making them colaborate ... not just do things alone ......
Cause results yu having ... "are good" but seam saturated ...
In artistical managemnt yu people lack on more dinamic artisti ....
Now theres a problem in all that .... "how to do it" ... and if artists take their cash in "by art done & paid" or by paid by volume ....
Its ratter complicated ... But i would be Trying that if i was admin there ...
Also if i was administrator of that talent search ....
I would search colorists that have on their tecniques .. working with vectors .. in illustrator ... and then overpass alil the line with painter and finish with photoshop colorizing and smudging the line making it not so much notiçed........ .. humm... like omar dogan and udon ... yu know.
Theres alot a new tendency of the world market doing that .. because inking sometimes is such a precise and expertise tecnique ... that has the tendency to ruin things off yu know..........
