Looks like even a more grizzled veteran of the webslinger family can bite of more than she can chew.
Julia Carpenter tried to free one of her allies from an advanced version of the Venom symbiote but got her tables turned instead.
After a short fight of trying to incapacitate it with webbing to no effect, she turns to melee combat. Hoping her skill, reflexes and super strength can make short work of the Alien and it's host. That would not be the case unfortunately.
The symbiote grabs her hands in it's iron grip. With her arms caught Julia dangles in front of the ugly being, it's breath sending wrinkles to her nose and shivers through her body. In one last desperate attempt of freeing herself from the symbiote's grip, Julia launches her knees upward and uppercuts her enemy with both her legs.
But being the very flexible creature the symbiote is, the hit only manages to prolong it's neck into a black tar covered python-like appendage. The symbiote has grown tired of the resistance.

Julia watches on in horror as she realises just how helpless she is in the hands of her enemy. Lucky for her it does not plan on killing her (yet).
As Julia is still dangling in it's grip she is in the perfect position to taste the iron webbing of the Symbiote. In classic fashion the symbiote raises the back of it's hand and sprays out a perfect string of of webbing, covering her mouth instantly. The monster proceeds to force her arms down and envelops her entire body in webbing leaving only her torso shoulders, bosom, neck and head free.

"Hmmph ml mpmph!?"* "Hmmph dnmph mh mp mgmlp mh mdnph m mpmmph m mdmph mlf dhm!?"*

"Why all this?!"* "Why don't you just kill me instead of putting me on display like this?!"* Julia muffled through her web gag in anger and fear.

The symbiote, not having uttered a word since their encounter, extends it's nightmarish head and looks Julia straight in the eyes.
"Why kill that which I intend to take as host next!?" "I will use your current ally and his knowledge to bypass the doors of this research station to get what I need!"

"After that he will feed my growth"!
"You however will be a stronger and more agile candidate to control for the next step of Venom's plan"!

With that, Venom dissapeared into the depths of the reasearch station to seek out it's dark secret.

Julia left dangling in her web cocoon now must pull the fastest escape artist act of her life if she wishes to escape and warn the world of Venom. Lest she becomes it herself.
