And finally, 10 months after I first posted the sketch, the coloured version!
Drawing Michael (on the right, for those not familiar with my boys) in that pose was a mistake after all since I did such a poor job shading his jacket. I haven't properly shaded anything since September and I definitely felt it. So... not 100% happy, but at least it's done. Also, art resolution for 2011: learn to shade hair properly!

I wanted to give Josh sunglasses but I think he would have looked too much like a mobster/yakuza.

As expected, I hated having to shade that white suit, but I know that forcing myself was for the best. And anyway, even when I tried to change the colour later on, nothing would do.
Maybe this year I can try drawing them as Bleach Shinigami

Not enjoying the manga, I take it? ONE thing I want to know: where the Hell is KuroPapa?? We can't have that-dude-whose-name-I-can't-remember-yet showing us photos of Isshin and wanting him investigated not leading anywhere for like… 50 chapters, right? Right??
Anyway, I'm hoping to draw the boys as Academy student and also young officers (oh gawd I shouldn't start thinking about all the plotbunnies I got for that last year…)

Eeeeeeeh the only things I look forward to now are anything with Daddeh Isshin or anything TatsuIchi related. XD Also was nice to see Chad!pimps but now that I've seen him I'm just more or less waiting on Isshin. LOL Any TatsuIchi moments are bonus for me.
lol I'd love to see them like that. XD Plotbunnies are definitely a love/hate thing.
