Finally done

OK, no, it hasn't actually been that long since I started, but this one required quite a lot of work. Some of you might remember him from a double portrait piece I posted during the summer: hiddengems.deviantart.com/art/… He's an OC I've been having a lot of fun with recently, and I'd been meaning to draw him again and refine his design for a little while. I'm veryveryvery pleased with him, but I apologise for the half-assed attempt at a background and the dodgy shading on the hand. Still a lot to learn, but I'm trying.

I just love, love, love this piece. It all comes together so beautifully, and the colors and the background and the layout and his expression and everything.

You know that Rufus picture?? His songs are the best sort of inspiration when I'm drawing/writing about Josh, and when I saw that particular picture, I knew it'd be the perfect pose.

haha yes off course, its one of my favourites of him! ahh yes the pose realy worked C: i like some of his songs, specially cigarretes and chocolate milk, its one of my all time fav songs i dunno why, its so silly haha

Shortly after his latest album came out, my fiancé's father was in a big HMV store in London and somehow managed to work his way into a mini concert-type thing that had been organised. Only a selected few people with special badges/bracelets were there, but he found himself stuck with them by chance. He did think about me and tried to take some videos with his mobile phone, but gosh how I wish I could have been there!!

Thanks!! And yes, they were a bit of a pain. I really ought to have done better shading (on each individual book as well as the general gradient) but by then I couldn't be bothered
