Description
I've been replaying Explorers of Sky again lately using these two, so I felt like drawing em up... They're drawn on A5 paper, coloured in Derwent Studio Pencils.Blarg, my scanner ate most of the colours! Managed to get it fairly close to the original on Photoshop though.

And that's my MD2 team right there. Why? Well, not only do I love riolu (lucario's my favourite poke ever though. Yeah I know, I'm unoriginal, but that just like just like the guys who like Charizard the most (no offense btw)) and vulpix's so cute and fluffy and ninetails' so majestic scfvrbufuecbgnvke *dies*. Anyways, the second reason is that these two are in the same egg group, so, sometimes, I imagine them after their adventuring days starting a family or something like that. And the final reason is that Riolu is freaking broken as all hell as a leader in MD2. Like seriously, if you're lucky enough you get a Erthquake TM as well as a Focus Blast one. Yeah your moveset pre evolution is not as good as post evolution, but even still, Earthquake, Shadow Claw/Bite, Rock Slide, Focus Blast destroys just about anything, and then it gets even better when you evolve! Speaking of moveset, my usual Lucario setup is Shadow Claw, Aurasphere, Psychic and depending of my mood Earthquake or Bone Rush. And then you take into account the abilities. And then you notice that X-eye seeds make you even more of a threat than you already are! I mean resistance to dark type moves? Check! Ability to HEAL from psychic moves? Check! Immunity to sleep? Check! Immunity to fear? Check! To poison? Check! The only things that can bother you are confusion, paralysis and burns. And then again you have your partner to do a bit of the work when you can't, and Ninetails' quite polyvalent on her own (wrote "her" since partner/player Vulpix is female only, for reasons I do not understand). So yeah. These two are, in my humble opinion, the dream team for MD2.

This is my favorite team in the whole game, the only one I've ever finished the whole thing with. Looks great; amazing work with the pencils, and the fur looks perfect!

I don't think I can get the new Mystery Dungeon, considering I only use an emulator, and not a real DS.
Plus, I don't have a 3DS, so.. yeah. :I
Although, Β was surprised when a LOT of people had the same combination of explorers.

Ah ok, that's fair enough. Yeah from what I can see, I think that the vulpix and riolu combo is the more popular one for Sky!

I wish you all the best with your project, a PMD anime would be awesome (I know they did a couple of official episodes but more would be great). As for tips... I guess just keep doing plenty of practice? I try to work on improving a bit with each picture I do, always plenty of room for that.

I kinda wished I'd start my adventure as a Riolu even though you have to be a boy to be a Riolu maybe when a new pmd game comes out then maybe they can allow girls to be a Riolu then just boys.

They might do. Cyndaquil was male only in the first PMD, but they made it playable for either gender in the second ones...
