Digital Demon. -
- The research facility was empty aside from the two intern devs pulling an all nighter to get their papers into their seniors. Certain he’d flunk out, Tai got fed up and decided to dig around the lab and see what he could find. At this point anything was more interesting than logging errors in the clothing folding bot assigned to them for their research final assignment.
Just then Tai spotted something. It was put aside covered with a tarp and marked off with a pilon barrier. A note sat stuck to the front of the barrier. “ Buggy as fuck, Do Not Touch. -Virus removal necessary”
Being on his last leg Tai said, “Fuck it! “ and lifted up the tarp. To his surprise it wasn’t just any other bot. It seems the research facility’s profs were helping develop technology for the city’s police department, special forces at that.
He turned to his classmate Sue and with a grin he opened the bot’s housing. “There’s room in here for a person ! .. This isn’t a bot, it’s mobile armor…”
Sue, “ I really don’t think you should do this, you could get us killed.”
Tai ignoring Sue’s words leaned back and sat in the mobile suit. It instantly closed around him and activated. “Hey this isn’t so bad” Tai exclaimed. The suit was moving well. He managed to get it walking smoothly. “Haha, Looks like I’m a natural”
Just then an error report popped up. “ Gah! Blue screen , what the fuck?! What year is this? “
The screen cleared and Tai began to hear something.
Someone was speaking to him.
“Hate…..What do you hate? “
Tai - “What..why would I .. who?”
The suit shut down completely and fell to its knees.
Sue frantically tried to pry open the armor but it was useless. It was locked from the inside.
“Reboot sequence complete”
The armor stood upright.

Sue- “Tai? … are you okay? “
Tai- “ I’ll kill them…..

Sue-” What are you talking about !? “ Running frantically for the door sue grabs her phone and sprinting she calls her sister. It goes to voicemail.
“Arale ! Help! Tai, he got into the mobile suit. We’re at the lab ! I don’t know what’s happening but he’s not himself. It took him over or something! Tell Aspera I’m sorry! I said I’d bring him home after finals. Oh god he’s coming”
The phone drops to the ground.
“ I’ll kill them…”
