Description
Spinosauridae is a family of theropod dinosaurs with some of the strangest beast ever found in mesozoic strata (Sorry Carnotaurus, Tsintaosaurus, Amargasaurus and Masiakasaurus... you`re strange too). This family is (some times) divided in two subfamilies: The Spinosaurinae and the Baryonychinae. The former includes the (til now) biggest theropod (Spinosaurus aegypticus) and the brazilian Irritator challengeri (or, if you prefer, Angaturama limai, probably synonyms), whereas the latter includes the english Baryonyx walkeri and the african Suchomimus tenerensis (wich, for some scientists, is another species of Baryonyx and should be called Baryonyx tenerensis). All the representatives of this family have a strange and croc-like skull (probably related to a fish-based diet, altough spinosaurian teeth were found in pterosaur skeletons) and, in some cases, enlarged neural spines, appearing as a sail in the back of the animal.

Well, after all that talking, the drawing... is a baryonychynae (not very well defined yet for generic or specific placement) sketch, which will be corrected and inked in a near future....

The tail is horrible.... it will change in the final version...
