Well, I must say it... the skull is wrong! The nasal opening should be a little back, and these horny things are not in Irritator... anyway, take it as a Spinosaur, or something like that...Related content

Who knows... Irritator is known only by a fragmentary skull (well, maybe a sort of "almost complete skull" if you considera Angaturama as the same animal (and specimen...). Anyway, phylogenetic schemes place Irritator as very closely related with Spinosaurus... thus the elongated (hypotetical) vertebrae...
Also, some Baryonichinae vertebrae from England (referred as Baryonyx sp.) present a (less developed) elongation...
but yes, all pure speculation...

thanks! I did a new version, with little modifications, changind the nasal opening and giving the sail a more nitid resolution..... I dunno if I'll upload, because is veeery similar to this one!
