This is a picture I did a while ago of my mom with oil pastels. It's based on a photograph.PS
Haha if you happen to notice the camera date, I did not make this in '99. I just never bothered to fix the date on my camera.
I actually made this in January '10.

This is such a beautiful piece, but you already know how I feel about it. The lighting and texture is amazing.
You should really use a fixing spray on this and scan it, it's gallery/portfolio-worthy.

I'm terrible at paint, it frustrates the fuck out of me, so oil pastels ended up being a fantastic alternative C:
No wet painty mess, and running out of white is no longer an issue... it's perfect for me haha
