Marvellous portrait! You've caught the essence of the wolf.
Respect!

Thank you. Actually Pejuta is the alpha male and was keeping a strict eye on me and the rest of his pack.
Beautiful isn't he?

Yes, indeed! A great picture of a beautiful wolf.
How close to you come he? Whereabout is the "Wolf Creek Habitate"?
I've heard of the IWC in Ely, but that's new for me. How many....
Sorry! To much questions.

He came up very close when I first entered his pack's enclosure to check out me. I got to pet him a bit and once he figured I wasn't a threat, he just kept an eye on his rowdy pack members.
Wolf Creek Habitat is in Brookville, Indiana.

There are tons of wolf sanctuaries in the States. I plan to visit as many as I possibly can.

Thank you.
Feel free then to look through my gallery. I'm slowly adding the photos from my most recent Wolf Trip (to Wolf Park and Wolf Creek Habitat).

Look around. I know Spain has some and most of East Europe and Russia has them still wild.
If nothing else, I'm sure some German Zoos should have some wolves.

Yeah, some of the wolves from eastern Europe are moving into Germany. Guess what politicians are talking about: Should farmers be allowed to shoot them.
Isn't that totally insane???

It's the debate that seems to appear, no matter where in the world you may be, when wolves and ranchers/farmers meet.
Instead of attempting to find a way so that both could live and prosper, sadly, the knee-jerk reaction is to kill on sight.
