Some ginga fanart! I just really love drawing in this style, its my mood this month lmao
And I've been improving my cell shading, getting it up to a good standard to apply to my commissions. So far YCH buyers are loving it so thank you for that!

Well, this drawing had a speedpaint. However... it was deleted. I accidentally deleted a very important folder form my computer. Nearly 3000 files including the recording for this. I managed to recover the folder (after paying support a hefty price..) but unfortunately didn't get back the finished speedpaint and not all of the recording to edit it anew. I've sent them an email about it, but they haven't answered yet. If I do get it back I will update this submission with the speedpaint link. It included the making of the whole drawing, from sketch to finish which is something I don't usually do so I was very excited about it. I also figured out how to add annotations to the video. So Im really disappointed about loosing it, despite paying so much for file recovery.

About the drawing, Ginga is a manga series dear to my heart, It's one of the first I ever read and I still like the very distinct style it is drawn in. It's almost infamous in a bad way tho, as many fans like to trace it. It's one of those things people love making traced bases off too which is a shame but hey since when is dA concerned with copyright infringement am I right?

Featured are, Riki at the top, Gin to the side and Weed on the bottom. The bearhound family. I didn't include Weed's kids cos I havent read those manga yet. Plus I havent finished the GDW manga either.
There's Futago Pass in the background which I referenced form a screenshot. Lots of painting on this one. I like the mixture of a painted background and cell shaded characters. Just something about it is so appealing.
