Would I don't is why did she slap him for saving the world?

she didn't slap him for saving the world. she thought he died for a year so she was upset when he wanted to jump back into battle and risk his life again. so they had a fight about it.

I'd have to get a closer view of the white backdrop, but from the thumbnails I'd say I too prefer the photoshopped version; even the sheen you add to the "main" pictures adds a certain mystique to the pic.
Strong composition, too, though I would move the uppermost image a bit closer to center to make it more symmetrical; your choice to run the full gamut of emotional interactions between the two characters is quite clever, and you capture the feel of each moment very nicely.
My one big complaint is the "ground" line the main image stands on; it is difficult to spot given that below and above it the colors are identical, and overall it just feels out of place and unnecessary. I realize you might not want the main image to appear to be floating, but given the overall feel of the picture, I don't think "floating" would be too odd-looking, and if you did want to "ground" the main image, I might fill the space beneath the line with a different color than the background.
Still, on the whole, this is a strong pic that really gets at the heart of the multi-layered emotions that drive this relationship, and it earns a big thumbs-up from me.
