You all know him.... some adores him... some might hate him... recently hes the main supporter of the "Super Heroes Registration" in the "Civil War" event runing in Marvel Comics and new former "enemy" of Captain America.
He might be the character with the most suit modifications of all. The suit is constantly being redesigned to face the new challenges that Tony Stark meets on a daily basis. There are specialty suits that have been made such as the Arctic, Stealth, Space, Hulkbuster and Thorbuster armors.
There have been nearly 40 different variations of the Iron Man armor in the current reality of the Iron Man comics (and like Millions made in fan art). He first appeared in Tales of Suspense #39 (March 1963) wearing a Gray suit and had roller skates in the feet instead of jets.
