Huh. This is very interesting.
I like seeing how different techniques eventually end up with a similar effect. X3

The brushes mostly.
Some use only blurry-type brushes without touching the blur tool and others use only hard brushes with the blur tool. Others use a combination of all three. I get so confused sometimes when I attempt to try a style, though. XD

Thanks so much for the great tutorial. I learned a lot lately about different aspects and skills of painting and is was hard to find the way to use them all in the right order. I was kind of confused by all my new skills I had. This is very helpful for me because I can use it a little bit like a to do list which helps me to concentrate more on those skills used in it. Thanks so much!

I don't paint realism on the computer, but I'm sure this is extremely helpful for others that do. Excellent job. I love how you show us every major step you go through and we can see easily how the work progresses.

This is great. As an aspiring digital artist, this is very helpful. You touched a few points that most tutorials leave out. This should help immensely. Please keep up the good work.
