Description
This was a challenge and a half.Making this Bravestarr character look bad-ass was a bit of an ordeal, but I learned a lot and tried some new lighting techniques along the way.
Also, what the hell? Every picture of this character from the cartoon has his crotch area the same colour as his body and head...so I gave him tights. the 80's man...
I felt like a lot of my recent works have been dark and gloomy so I wanted to make something bright and colourful this time!
My submission for the battle over at

Did you use textures for the armour?

The textures on the armor were made using different brushes and layering them. I did use some on the rocks in the background, I got a tad lazy, haha!

I can't remember the name of this character off the top of my head, but I think his trusty wide-barreled weapon was dubbed "Sarah-Jane".
