Description
Second challenge of Le Beau Monde: [link]The trend is "Goddess Worship", but i decided to give this goddess a silhouette, as opposed to the "shapeless sheet wrapped around her" look that's all over the catwalks this spring.
The colors are a mix of chartreuse green and yellow and their shades.
The first look is a layered chiffon gown with a draped bodice, golden straps and gold accessories...zipper in the back

this is a very elegant look but because of the color it's not stiff or boring. very nice choice or style and I actually like the color on this one even though it's so bold.

nice design. This technical drawing was done in Corel Draw? I'm learning to do technical drawigs, but it's so hard..)))))

No, I'm doing all my flats in Illustrator. There's this book "Fashion Designer's Handbook for Adobe Illustrator", that makes things a lot easier...I never tried Corel Draw, but it's in the future

I must say that I really love the sketchy style of this! I like your hand drawn lines a lot
The colors make me think of lemon and lime and it makes your designs so fresh and appealing!
(If I could wear those colors I'd so buy that dress!)
The woven/draped top part makes the design very interesting and makes you take another look. The flowy soft chiffon makes this dress very romantic and the gradient (at least it looks like there is more than one color) gives it that extra kick that makes me go "wow".
Love Love love it.. and I so want to have it!

love the colours and the woven texture. Plus the beading looks very nice. The flow and everything is wonderful and overall it's great. Good job. c:

Love the beading accents and the colours! Wow!
The woven style bodice is a great way to really contrast the flow of the skirt.
I would love to give some critique but I really don't have much. The lines at the bodice are maybe a bit thick for the delicate nature of the gown... I'm really reaching here.
What software are you using to do your flats? I would love to get my hands on something to make really sharp looking flats. I've had to get all new software since I switched to a Mac and am delaying because I don't know what direction to go (really I just don't want to shell out money for Photoshop again).

The bodice on this one and the corset on the other look are inspired by a Jasmine di Milo dress that i saw in a Burda magazine.
I'm doing my flats in Adobe Illustrator. I got this book "Fashion Designer's Handbook for Adobe Illustrator" and i'm still learning.
Photoshop is the center of my universe. I discover a new feature every day and i've become a layer-brush-freak lately

I was really just starting to get the hang of Photoshop when my PC died on me. I do have a bonus coming to me at work so I may have to get myself Illstrator... or Photoshop... hmmm.
