Did I mention I LOVE the way you draw dragons? They are so majestic and I wish you can illustrate book covers for fantasy stories involving dragons. XD
Hehe...I did thought of the dragons as a nearly-extinct species in the World of Remnant before, and I hope I can work out a story for them that does them justice.
Anyway, I can see the references that has been used in the creation of Team JADE, and I love Aaron and Elena's characters the most since they are based off shows I like. XD

what does Aaron and Elena remind you of?

Aaron? A mix between a monster hunter, pokemon trainer and dragon rider. I do like his dragon's design though, reminds me of the inheritance cycle. (Yes, I read the whole series)
Elena? Someone probably mentioned it before, the outfit really reminds me of the anime Claymore. (I love the sword fights in that anime)
Are those the inspirations for your characters?

Actually Elena IS from Claymore
shes the Claymore from the black card episode the only thing different is that she got an outfit change to a new huntress style outfit.
as for Aaron he's 's character along with Nalia so the character design was all his.
