The story sets place one year after the events of Conquer on Shambala. Edward and Alphonse are now professors of the Universty of Germany and while that try to find a way to permantly destroy The Gate. And the one person that could possibly know this is a world renown Chemist named Dr. Herein Schimer. He tells them that the only way to destroy the gate is to recreate an ancient object known as The Goddess Stone which is an alcamation of seven Philospher Stones. With this stone one not only become the most powerful alchemist he would go beyond the boundaries of a God. It can do anything it's masters wishes. Even destroy the Gate. So Edward and Alphonse return to their world and reuntied by there freinds to acomplish what many say impossible. To recreate the Goddess Stone. Only to find...there not the only one.

I see n.n well, actually what I meant was not about the story itself, but about what your project was... like, are you gonna write a fan-fic, or are you going to make a doujinshi or something of the sort? Anyway, I don't think contributing with ideas would be a problem, but I wanted to know that first.
About the story, even if it sounds really interesting, there are some things I don't understand. In the first place, why are Edward and Alphonse trying to destroy the gate? according to the anime-original storyline (wich is connected to the Conqueror of Shamballa movie) the gate allows the life energy from one side (the world without alchemy) to become the energy required to perform alchemy on the other side, so destroying it would mean breaking the balance of energy and eliminating alchemy completely... I get that they don't want the events that happened in the movie to repeat themselves... but isn't permanently destroying the gate a bit extreme? Who knows what could happen to the world if the energy flow was destroyed? and Edward and Alphonse are no fools who would try to mess (for the second time -.-) with the balance of the universe... wouldn't that go against all that they learned throught their journey trying to recover Al's body and Ed's lost limbs?

It would but you didn't know this. Edward had found out that Dr Hermin Schimer secretly studied all the secrets of alchemy ( he ben knows more than Ed) he gets promoted and took over his job as head of staff. He gets the keys to his office and finds his house address. There late one night Ed and Al go to find his Alchemy only to find that Dr. Hermin Schimer faked his death to continue his research on alchemy. About destroying the gate like you said they don't want the same thing to repeat itself but Edward and Alphonse don't know that the entire universe revolves around The Gate ( not even alchemist know everything) until someone explains to them if they were destroy the last gate then it could mean the end of life itself. He explains that the gate can be send the gate to another location far from Germany's Hands just the Goddess Stone into the gate therefore causing all the energy within the Stone to explode and cause the gate to be shrunk and sent to another dimension.

I see... there are still a couple of things not completely clear to me, but I don't want to become a bother either by questioning your story too much, I guess the explanations will come by themselves during the development of the plot... or at least that's what I hope. However, I still don't quite understand how I could be any help for you n.n" I mean, I cannot think of isolated possible situations for Edward and Winry's meeting without being completely aware of the story, so I don't think I can really help you... Sorry about that. I'll be looking forward to reading your fanfic though
