Here is Aragorn from the Lord of the Rings trilogy, my all time favourite movies.I started a little drawing project a while ago, where I'm going to draw sketches of the whole Fellowship. Aragorn was first in line, and I spent about 1-1.5 hour on each little portrait

Alan Lee is a master indeed, but that's because he has a lot more experience than you. If you had spend as many hours as him on draws and paintings, I bet you'd kick his ass properly. You've got an amazing talent and skill, while other artists only got experience and technic. You are clearly mastering the forms and the lines in your draws, the portraits of the fellowship members are so... expressive.
And this is not flattery, this is just what I think
