"And that, my young human student, is why you don't call out the name of your attacks BEFORE you attack. It may sound awe-inspiring, but only an idiot lets his opponent know what to expect."

"So is THAT why you ate that mean knight, Boss? Because he was stupid? Or because he took my lunch money and threw my favorite doll in the mud?"

"The former. And it was even more stupid of him to be openly disrespectful of a mighty wyrm like me, that's all." [Shifty eyes, too proud as a dragon to express his open fondness for his bright and talented student in the arcane]

"It WAS pretty dumb of him, Boss. Thanks for helping me out..." [Still being a young girl, his student hugs the drake's belly, smiling] "So... what's today's lesson?"

[Smiles warmly back] "Given how quickly you have mastered normal transportation spells, today's lesson, my dear..." [Flicks a claw, and to the girl's utter surprise, the dragon has disappeared in one eye-blink and reappeared at another part of the cavern] "... the old art of draconic teleportation: quiet as a whisper, quick as lightning, and without the hand fumbling, ritual, loud spoken words, or the flash and noise so prevalent among human and even elvish magic."

"Boss, that's... amazing! Just a flick of your claws--is THAT how dragons pull off your 'left as quickly as you came' trick? Especially Miss Kara from down the valley, with all the pastries and trolls she eats... Er, I'll apologize to her later for that; should I go get my wand?"

I think it's rather more effective the way it is, colored simply and like a dreamy book illustration
