The next time I'll read Lovecraft I'll have these in mind⦠So that's why so many characters ended up on the verge of madness.

While on a flight one day I passed over the polar city
And curious zipped down to see what I could glean
Behold the nightmare pit that splashed with piping shapeless monsters
I packed them in the bay of my B-17

Very striking concept. May have been better with a setting.

Somehow...this manages to be far more terrifying than any shoggoth I read about in the stories.
Well done! I especially like the hands.

No problemo. Always glad to meet another Lovecraftian. Lovecraftite? Lovecraftonian?
I have no clue. Whatever they are, we're two of them, I guess.
Great pic! I'll shut up now.

Awesome work! Do you create directly from the stories? If so, which one did you pull this beauty from?

Come great old ones from the depths of the dark and the bottom of the sea, the Fallen Pharaoh calls to thee. Great work, Lovecraft would be proud.

My pleasure! It's sad that Lovecraft, much like other greats, became truly appreciated after he died. Anyhow, your work is amazing! The Fallen Pharaoh will be watching.
