Description Woot My first CS5 Planet/Space background

Made a halfway decent space background, then rendered Reimagined Constitution Class Starship over it in Poser Pro 2012.

How did you do the conversion to Poser? How did Mattymanx help?

Mattymanx did everything, he took a format non-usable to poser and converted it to something poser could use.

Ah, but its nice to see this version of the shop again: a reminder how far short the Abramsprise falls as a re-imagined design.

Yeah the new Abram is a little tooo art decoish

I could take Art Deco if it is not such a Frankenstein's monster of mismatched technical details.

There are good ideas in bits and pieces, but overall, it just does not gel into a good design.

The Abramsprise looks like a ship built by a set of committees that had no shared vision (or clear idea of what a specifically "Star Trek" ship is comprised of), seldom spoke to each other and jumped on the first the complete concept that appeared.... which may well have been the case.

There's not much difference, dimension wise, between this reimagined version and the original TOS version.
It's a pretty cool model to play with.
