For 's generation 8 collab.I was really excited about this collab, as this has been one of the best generations in terms of Pokemon designs in my opinion. So many unique and creative ideas! And the fossils are perhaps some of the best examples. After getting over my initial "WTF are these things" reaction and learned about the inspiration behind them, I really fell in love with these poor mis-matched creatures.

Ahaha omg this is fantastic! The energy, the angle, Cara Liss' mad scientist face (but in a derp way), and most of all the creature's face that says "Yay I'm alive! ...Wait."

I love the inspiration behind the fossils too, I just wish they had gone with more "funny looking" and less "suffers while being alive". I can't use them because I feel too sorry for them. xD

Yeah, I can't help but feel guilty when I use the fossils too. Then again, reviving them in this state only to stuff them in a box isn't much better either.
That said, I remember seeing a comic where someone proposed a way for Dracovish to be comfortable - have an Araquanid create a big water bubble around its face, and ta da! It can now roam the land without suffocating.
