Yes, it’s true, I don’t really like the default blue-white App Store icon. I think, it should look more like an actual store — maybe like an Apple Store. That is why I made this one.:c)

Well, although the icon was not released under a Creative Commons license which allows "remixing" I'm fine with that as long as you give credit where credit is due. - I'm glad you like the concept that much. I'm more of a minimalist/purist when it comes to icon design.
