This piece definitely excels on impact. There is a quietness and stillness in the figure, but with your line work you have achieved a sort of movement within the stillness. While this person seems to be standing still, the dynamic lines and the jagged edges make the figure vibrate and seem alive. My favorite part of this piece is definitely all the bold, thick lines in the torso. While some people may say there isn't detail, I don't think that every image has to be loaded with detail to be interesting. Detail is good, but simplicity is sometimes better. It all depends on what you are setting out to do and what your intention is. Actually I would challenge you to make your images even more simple (just as an experiment) and see what comes out of it.

I see a very "cold spring" in-deed, i like how you emphasized the structure of the person of the picture as if being affected by the weather, however, there could've been more detail. When I first looked at it, the first thing I thought was "gloom," when opposed to it that Spring should be a season of joy and exuberance, I love opposites! Your technique is without a doubt, critically remarkable; the face is the most direct part of the picture; the most revised part which is good because it shows nothing else matter that much at all. So, great job!

I love the way you 'splattered' the ink along the outline of the character c: The expression is well-suited for the idea of the piece, and the black/grey-scale colours add to the drawing. Fantastic work ^.^ It is beautiful~

Β It was an experiment with a slightly different style. Maybe I'll come back to it someday?

That sounds like a plan n_n It is a pretty cool idea, and I think it would be good to maybe switch it up now and then. Even if you don't use it a lot, just every once in a while~
