In my honest opinion it's a striking piece. I find it bold and stunning. The shading and color impact are done beautifully and the stance is intimidating. I am in love with the detail the fact that you decided to make him truly barbaric looking. Often times I see cute or an attempt at animal looking ogres. I much prefer this look of savage and still wild but still strong and almost demanding.
I can imagine him standing atop a large hill over looking a blood stained battle field with decapitated heads in each hand roaring in victory. Just as easily as I can imagine him standing in the forest protecting his home. Your style has given room for plenty of inspiring tales and idea. This picture inspires many different images of him in my mind and I value that in art.
You did a wonderful job portraying an ogre in my opinion. Good Job!
