This is something that has been on my mind for a long time.I always wonder wouldn't it be cool to have The Lost World Pteranodon action figure that can fold and flap its wings, like an updated version of the Kenner one; where you can fold its wings without attaching the tips to its body.
At first I thought it would be impossible or too expansive to make. But then I played around with my Kenner's Man-Bat from Batman The Animated Series and thought it is actually possible. If you ever owned one or still have it, I'm sure you'll understand how the folding mechanism works.
The fabric on its wings I would imagine like the one from Thinkway for Disney's Dinosaur.
And it doesn't have to be a giant, it can be right around the size of human action figure. This one is based around the size of JP1 or JP3 pteranodon action figure.
I really think it is possible to have a toy version of TLW pteranodon, one that can do its on screen actions.
Now, if only Mattel would make something like this.
